Established in August 2021, KCS PASS is a volunteer-based, non-partisan, non-profit advocacy organization of parents, guardians, and caregivers of students in Knox County Schools (TN). We are working to promote healthy, supportive, and responsive safety practices in our schools. School safety is many things, including positive climate, anti-bullying, and anti-violence--but it starts with the basics of keeping students safe and promoting recommended health strategies. KCS PASS recognizes all of the advocacy needs in Knox County, and we are starting with holding KCS accountable for 2021-22 covid-19 mitigation measures that follow CDC recommendations.
